26.221 
  
 هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ





English: Sahih International
 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend?
English: Transliteration
 Hal onabbiokum AAala man tanazzalu alshshayateenu
French: Hamidullah
 Vous apprendrai-Je sur qui les diables descendent?
26.222 
  
 تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ




English: Sahih International
 They descend upon every sinful liar.
English: Transliteration
 Tanazzalu AAala kulli affakin atheemin
French: Hamidullah
 Ils descendent sur tout calomniateur, pécheur.
26.223 
  
 يُلْقُونَ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَٰذِبُونَ



English: Sahih International
 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars.
English: Transliteration
 Yulqoona alssamAAa waaktharuhum kathiboona
French: Hamidullah
 Ils tendent l'oreille... Cependant, la plupart d'entre eux sont menteurs.
26.224 
  
 وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلْغَاوُۥنَ


English: Sahih International
 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them;
English: Transliteration
 WaalshshuAAarao yattabiAAuhumu alghawoona
French: Hamidullah
 Et quant aux poètes, ce sont les égarés qui les suivent.
26.225 
  
 أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِى كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ






English: Sahih International
 Do you not see that in every valley they roam
English: Transliteration
 Alam tara annahum fee kulli wadin yaheemoona
French: Hamidullah
 Ne vois-tu pas qu'ils divaguent dans chaque vallée,
26.226 
  
 وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ




English: Sahih International
 And that they say what they do not do? -
English: Transliteration
 Waannahum yaqooloona ma la yafAAaloona
French: Hamidullah
 et qu'ils disent ce qu'ils ne font pas?
26.227 
  
 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَذَكَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَٱنتَصَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا۟ ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَىَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ


















English: Sahih International
 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.
English: Transliteration
 Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati wathakaroo Allaha katheeran waintasaroo min baAAdi ma thulimoo wasayaAAlamu allatheena thalamoo ayya munqalabin yanqaliboona
French: Hamidullah
 à part ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres, qui invoquent souvent le nom d'Allah et se défendent contre les torts qu'on leur fait. Les injustes verront bientôt le revirement qu'ils [éprouveront]!
